The hosts on AVR do pay
for their airtime, however our costs are rising as everyone
elses are and so it is also for our hosts.
If AVR was to
raise its airtime rates to coincide with the rise in our
costs many of your favorite hosts would have to cease
broadcasting.
AVR was created to give Americans who
would otherwise not be allowed to have a national voice have
one.
It makes no sense to price the airtime rates above
what these Americans can afford.
It is time for you to
contribute to AVR.
Some of you may believe that you
can't afford to donate, however a $10 monthly donation to
AVR is less than 35 cents a day (thats the deposit on 7
aluminum cans).
